A) Math Breakdown


Where does the Rebate come from? 


The Real Estate Agent we assign you to has agreed to share 41.67% of their commission with RealtyRewards™ in the form of a Referral Fee in order to get access to being paired with you (someone who is registered, pre-qualified and ready to buy and/or sell a home). Then, after closing, we give you a Cash Rebate of 80% of our referral fee. 

What can I expect? 

Let's break it down... 

Example A 

If you purchase a home for $350,000.00 and the listing agreement calls for the standard 3.0% co-brokerage commission, then your Rebate will be $3,500.28

                            $350,000.00 X 3% X 41.67% X 80% = $3,500.28 Home Rebate

Example B

Should the actual commission be less than 3.0%, then the Referral Fee will be 41.67% of the actual co-brokerage commission.  

For instance, if the listing agreement of the home you purchased calls for a co-brokerage of 2.0%, then your Rebate will be $2,333.52

                         $350,000.00 X 2.0% X 41.67% X 80% = $2,333.52 Home Rebate

B) Table Format

The tables below reflect two different homes. In both scenarios, the Rebates are based on 1% back when buying and selling a home. All purchases and sales are handled by an experienced Real Estate Agent with local expertise assigned specifically to you.

C) Written Buying and Selling Scenarios

 

Example 1: Selling a home for $250,000 and buying a home for $300,000.

Example 2: Selling a home for $750,000 and buying a home for $1,300,000. 

 

Selling A Home (assuming the standard 3% co-brokerage commission)

Client registers on the RealtyRewards™ Website and becomes a Member of the RealtyRewards™ Program.

After registration, the Member will be contacted by email and asked to sign the Client Rebate Agreement. After the Member signs the Agreement, they will be qualified to receive a Rebate from RealtyRewards™ and will be contacted by an experienced Real Estate Agent with Local Expertise to list their home. 


Example 1: If the Member sells their home for $250,000, the Real Estate Agent would receive a commission of $7,500 (3%).

Of that commission, RealtyRewards™ would receive $3,125 (1.25% of the sales price) for a Referral Fee. We then Rebate 80% of our Referral Fee to the Member (YOU) – in this case, $2,500 Home Rebate (1% of the sales price).


Example 2: If the Member sells their home for $750,000, the Real Estate Agent would receive a commission of $22,500 (3%).

Of that commission, RealtyRewards™ would receive $9,375 (1.25% of the sales price) for a Referral Fee. We then Rebate 80% of our Referral Fee to the Member (YOU) – in this case, $7,500 Home Rebate (1% of the sales price).


In a case where the co-brokerage to the seller’s broker has been negotiated below 3%, the Referral Fee due to RealtyRewards™ will be 41.67% of the actual co-brokerage commission paid to the Real Estate Agent and the Member (YOU) will receive a Rebate of 80% of that amount.

 

Buying A Home (assuming the standard 3% co-brokerage commission)

Client registers on the RealtyRewards™ Website and becomes a Member of the RealtyRewards™ Program.

After registration, the Member will be contacted by email and asked to sign the Client Rebate Agreement.

Next, the Member will be contacted by our preferred lending partner, Academy Mortgage, to receive a free Pre-Qualification. 

*Remember, this approval does not require the Member to use the pre-qualifying lender as the ultimate lender—the Member may use any mortgage lender desired.

After the Pre-Qualification, we pair the Member with an experienced Real Estate Agent with local expertise to begin the home buying process. 


Example 1: If the Member buys a resale home for $300,000, the Real Estate Agent would receive a commission of $9,000 (3%). Of that commission, RealtyRewards™ would receive $3,750 (1.25% of the purchase price) for a Referral Fee.

We Rebate 80% of our Referral Fee to the Member (YOU) – in this case, $3,000 Home Rebate (1% of the purchase price).


Example 2: If the Member buys a resale home for $1,300,000, the Real Estate Agent would receive a commission of $39,000 (3%). Of that commission, RealtyRewards™ would receive $16,250 (1.25% of the purchase price) for a Referral Fee.

We Rebate 80% of our Referral Fee to the Member (YOU) – in this case, $13,000 Home Rebate (1% of the purchase price).


In a case where the co-brokerage to the buyer’s broker has been negotiated below 3%, the Referral Fee will be 41.67% of the actual co-brokerage commission paid to the Real Estate Agent and the RealtyRewards™ Member will receive a Rebate of 80% of that amount.
